A Few Verses on God's Protection

Reading Psalm 91 this morning, the theme of God’s Protection stood out to me. In fact, the Bible is filled with verses that speak about His protection. As such today I’d like to share a few of them with you.

For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go. — Psalm 91:11 NLT (New Living Translation)

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no foe can withstand] — Psalm 91:1 AMP

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.” — Psalm 91:14 NIV

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. — Isaiah 43:2 NIV

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. — 2 Thessalonians 3:3 NIV

… for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. — Proverbs 2:8 NIV

Pray for God’s protection, love Him and commit yourself to obeying Him no matter what. May He strengthen and protect you wherever you go and in whatever you do. And may His grace and peace be with you also.

Just in case you are interested, I came across a nice article by Gloria Copeland called Surrounded by God’s Protection that goes into more detail on God’s Protection.
