A few verses to share
These past few weeks have had quite a few up and down moments, but when I think about it, I know I could have handled things better had I really been seeking, listening to and trusting the Lord. I’ve had a few verses written down that I really like and am going to be memorizing. We should all try to memorize verses, but it doesn’t stop there. It is also very important that we apply it to our daily lives. It’s one thing to know it, but if we aren’t putting it into practice and living it, then that’s no good. So here are a few of those verses that I’d like to share:
I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.—Psalm 16:8
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.—Romans 12:2
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.—Romans 12:21
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good spirit lead me on level ground.—Psalm 143:10
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.—Habakkuk 2:3
This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God. In everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.—2 Chronicles 31:20-21
I hope these verses speak to you and also help you in your daily lives. May God bless you all greatly.
Have a nice day!
