It’s the hurricane season and you know what that means…hurricanes. Ernesto is it’s name and bringing rain, wind and possibly damage is it’s game. While it’s still just a tropical storm, you never know what can happen. It could speed up, it could slow down. It could become a hurricane or it could just die down. The forecasters right now predict that it’ll be heading straight for beautiful Jamaica and we will probably be feeling the effects of it later tonight or early Sunday morning.

Tracking Map of Tropical Storm Ernesto -

Now we Jamaican’s have been through this before. There was Gilbert and Ivan, just to name a few (well two that I have experienced). Others have been on their way but somewhere along the line decided to turn away. But despite the damage caused and also the near misses, we give thanks to God for helping us and protecting us each time. It certainly could have been worse.

Please pray that the Lord will once again divert the storm and let it die down, and if it does hit the island, that people will be safe and that there will be no serious damage (or any at all) to Jamaica or any other country.

I pray that the Lord will protect you and watch over you also. May the grace of our Lord be with you always. Peace and God bless.

I’ll be keeping you in my prayers, all of Jamaica as well. Peace be with you, may the Lord watch over you.

Thank you Robert. Your prayers are greatly appreciated. It seems Ernesto won’t be hitting Jamaica again, however it’s heading to Cuba and possibly the Florida. It also seems to be hitting a piece of Haiti. So we should keep them in our prayers as well.

Peace and God Bless you also.
