Praise Report!

While I should be pretty hard at work on assignments, I couldn’t help but take a minute to share some good news. From time to time at work I get the opportunity to speak to or meet members of faculty or administration. Sometime last year I was supposed to work on a website for a department on campus and had had meetings with a representative to get information for the website. While the site still has not been created because of various reasons, from time to time when that representative was unavailable I had to speak with a young lady in the department. It just so happened that while speaking with her over IM, we had spoken about God and from then on I have tried my best to encourage her in whatever way I can. Now onto the really good news.

Today I came home and logged on to IM only to hear an exciting message from her, telling me that she gave her life to the Lord. That was wonderful news and it brought a huge smile to my face to hear this. She said she had always known the right thing to do but that she wanted to be right with the Lord.

I ask that you please pray for this young lady that she will run this race with our Lord, that she will depend on Him, trust Him, love Him and have a deep and longing desire to honour Him and be more like Jesus.

Praise be to God!

Peace and God bless you
