Something I have been thinking about for some time now is having a little crossword puzzle every now and then on God’s Porch. Initially I thought to myself, “Wow this is a great idea! No one else has thought of this,” however, upon searching google for God crossword puzzles I notice that there are about 4 pages (or 32 results) worth of links to other sites that have crossword puzzles to do with God, Jesus, scriptures, etc (and I am sure there are many more). Turns out it wasn’t an original idea after all.

Anyway with that said, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to make it 33. This would be a great opportunity to do a little fun project on the web and learn a bit more about programming for the web at the same time. It would also be good to learn and share a bit more of God’s Word in a fun way.

This may take some time to create as I do have a lot of school work and “work work” that will take up my time. So I might start out with a small and fairly easy puzzle. I’m going to try and make it interactive also (this might take some time to implement) and will have to do a little research so please don’t hunt me down if after a month or two I still have not produced the first puzzle.

Interactive….now that is a very cool idea!. I’ll tell you who else loves crossword puzzles…..the little “mouse” does…Sounds like a fun project.

That would be a great idea! I haven’t really looked too much for other crossword puzzles on the internet, but an interactive one where you don’t have to print out but can fill out on the web would be cool!

That would be a great addition to Churches websites!

Robert: Thanks for stopping by. We will see just how it all turns out and how successful it is. As I mentioned there are many others out there but thought it would be fun to give it a try and learn and share at the same time.
