When I am afraid, you are with me Lord.

In my recent post “Put your Hope in God,” I wrote about trusting God in tough situations. While writing this post I realised they were both linked in a way and so I guess you can consider this a slight continuation.

We’ve all had moments when we were afraid or worried about something. It could be a fear of change or a fear of failure or a million other reasons but we often forget that God is there to help us.

Isaiah 41:10 NLT

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

Heavenly Father, we thank you that in the midst of our fears, you are there to comfort, strengthen and help us. We thank you that we do not have to worry about anything but instead pray about it and put it in your hands. Lord, please help us to realise that we need your help and cannot do it on our own. Amen.

1 Peter 5:7 NLT

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you.

Peace and God Bless.
